04 / Accessibility statement
The interactive 3D specimen rig on the homepage is decorative and hidden from screen readers; the same information is available as text on each service page. Some older PDF drawings and datasheets supplied by manufacturers are not tagged for screen readers — ask us and we will send an accessible alternative.
For the physical work: we specify cap heights against viewing distance, keep contrast above the recommended 30-point LRV difference for statutory and wayfinding signage, and can supply tactile and Braille signage where Approved Document M or the Equality Act 2010 applies. Fire and escape signage is specified to BS EN ISO 7010 and BS 5499. If a scheme is being assessed for an access audit, tell us at survey and we will specify to the auditor's criteria rather than retrofit afterwards.
This statement applies to thesignhub.net. It was prepared following an internal review against WCAG 2.2 level AA using keyboard-only testing, screen-reader spot checks and automated contrast analysis. It is reviewed whenever the site changes materially.
