About us

A sign works, not a sign shop.

We are a workshop on the Finedon Road Industrial Estate in Wellingborough with printers, routers, a fabrication bay and our own installation teams. Everything we quote, we make. Everything we make, we fit.

Established

Registered in 2005, on the Finedon Road estate ever since.

One building

Design, print, fabrication, lighting and finishing under one roof.

Own fitters

Employed installers with their own access equipment and RAMS.

Coverage

Northamptonshire daily, national rollouts on programme.

01 / Who we are

Signage is the first
thing anyone reads
about a business.

Long before a website or a brochure, someone stands on a pavement and decides whether a business looks like it knows what it is doing. That judgement is made on a fascia panel, a van door, a hoarding, a fire exit sign nobody thought about. It is worth getting right.

The Sign Hub was built to remove the gaps that make signage go wrong — the designer who has never met a fixing, the manufacturer who has never seen the wall, the subcontracted fitter who arrives with the wrong access equipment. We kept all four jobs in one building so there is one person accountable for the result.

Today that means twelve signage disciplines, from a single engraved door plate to a fifty-site identity rollout — surveyed, drawn, made, wired, fitted and warranted by the same team, out of one workshop in Northamptonshire.

02 / How we think

Six rules we do not
bend for a deadline.

None of these are marketing. They are the reasons a job takes an extra day at the survey stage and then goes in without a single surprise on installation morning.

01

Specify from the building.

Every quotation starts with the substrate, the fixings, the viewing distance and the power. A catalogue cannot tell you whether that render will hold a 40kg tray.

02

Make it, do not broker it.

Printing, routing, folding, welding, wiring and laminating happen here. Nothing leaves the bench until it has been switched on and looked at properly.

03

One team, start to finish.

The person who surveys writes the spec, the workshop that built it hands it to the fitters we employ. There is no gap for the detail to fall through.

04

Legible before it is clever.

Cap heights against viewing distance, contrast above the recommended LRV difference, and light levels that suit the street. Design that cannot be read is decoration.

05

Say what it will cost.

Fixed prices with the access equipment, consent work and fixings itemised. If the survey changes the job, you hear it before the invoice does.

06

Still ours after handover.

Five years on manufacture and installation, ten on LEDs, drivers and powder-coated steel — and a record of what was installed where, so a panel can be matched years later.

03 / Inside the workshop

The kit is the
argument.

Owning the machines is what lets us change a letter depth on the Wednesday and still fit on the Friday. It is also what keeps a fifty-panel rollout looking like it came from one place — because it did.

04 / The paperwork

Boring, and
completely in order.

Procurement teams ask for the same eight documents every time. Ask once and you will have them the same day — insurances, method statements, training cards and warranty terms.

05 / The group

Sister company to
Safety Solutions.

Our sister company supplies workwear, footwear and personal protective equipment from the same building. One order can dress a team and sign the building they work in.

Same owners, same address, same standard of aftercare. It is why a construction client can specify hoarding, statutory signage, site wayfinding and the hi-vis their crew wears on a single purchase order.
